The T1 is a voice and data line connection while the Ethernet is cabling that is used for Local Area Network environments. This difference in the technology used by the two options makes this service a more reliable, steady, and speedy connection. _________________ satellite internet service |

Avoid BigPond (aka Big Pong). I am on wireless with them and I reckon they suck big time. They charge higher than the others.
In Alice, your choices are Virgin, Vodaphone, Optus and BingPond, plus some minor companies who are just underlings of those names I mentioned.
BigPond boast they have the fastest and widest network in all of Australia, however, in Alice, all the other companies use the same infrastructure as Telstra. This means you will get the same speeds with any of them.
The difference is that between Alice And Tennant F. Creek, you have no wireless internet with anyone but Tesltra/Bigpond, while BigPong have access in TiTree along the way.
I used Optus previously... regret leaving them for a contract with Telstra. _________________ satellite internet |
